"UP Ikot: Talipapa sa Oble" holds first Friday market day at the UP Baguio Oblation Grounds

A joint project of the UP Alumni Association Baguio-Northern Luzon Chapter and the University of the Philippines Baguio through the UP Baguio Alumni Relations Desk, "UP Ikot: Talipapa sa Oble" aims to assist the local community to obtain farm produce and other food items at no-markup cost. Set to operate at the Oblation Grounds of the UP Baguio campus, it has been scheduled to be held every Friday, 08:30 a.m.-12:00 noon.

The UP talipapa which also aims to support local entrepreneurs, is open to the public who are directed to follow health security protocols while shopping. Markers and guideposts are placed to ensure orderly navigation. Safe physical distancing, wearing of personal protective equipment and proper sanitation are strictly observed while going around UP Ikot and meet friends and familiar faces of the UP and Baguio community.
